| "If there are sentient beings surrounded by hostile bandits, each wielding a sword ready to slay; by the power of invoking Avalokitesvara, they will immediately turn merciful." Who appears protected from hostile bandits. This form is the same as Bodhisattva Tara of the Garbhakosa. As we know, Tara means 'eye' or 'deliverer.' She is standing on a cloud floating in the sky. This form is venerated for its ability to protect sentient beings from being harmed by vicious bandits. |
