Chinese Yi Jing or Book of Changes, also known as Yijing, Yiking, r I
Ging or Zhouyi, is one of the Five Classics. This Chinese classic text describes
an ancient system of cosmology and philosophy that is intrinsic to the
Chinese cultural beliefs. I Ching is a system of divination based on a
series of symbols, rules for manipulating these symbols, poems, and
commentary. The I Ching has been used as a method of divination for over 3000 years.
